Easy Street Draw Use Requirements

Agency agrees to transmit all reports electronically in the format required by GDOT

Agency agrees to approve and submit crash reports, to the state repository (GEARS), within 3 days of the date of incident

Agency agrees to provide accurate crash location coordinates on the State Crash Report in decimal degree format (e.g. 33.24787, -83.44116) using the World Geodetic Survey (WGS-84) for Global Positioning Systems (GPS)

Agency agrees to use the GDOT - 523 v.2023 GUMVAR format for all crash reports

Agency understands that failure to meet any of the above requirements may result in deactivation of ESD License

Note: The free crash diagramming software is made available through a partnership between SmartSafety Software Inc., LexisNexis Coplogic Inc., and the Georgia Department of Transportation in an effort to provide you with the best crash diagramming tools available to meet the needs of our citizens and your officers. Any variance on your part in meeting the terms of this use agreement could result in the termination of the license.
